Chateau Palmer pairing ideas
I've got a bottle of Chateau Palmer 91 to celebrate a special occasion and wanted ideas for a perfect pairing. It's a rare opportunity for me to taste wine of this class, so I want to make the best of it. I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for something to really show it off.
So far everything I've read recommends simple meat dishes without any sauce to avoid distracting from the wine, I'm thinking something like a rare steak or duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes could fit the bill.
